How to season a non-stick wok?
First things first. You shouldn’t season a non-stick wok! This is because the key benefit of seasoning is to create a non-stick layer on your wok, and you already have this.
Maintain the non-stick coating for as long as possible by avoiding the use of abrasive scrubbers when washing them. You should also never use metal tools in your non-stick wok, as it could scratch and degrade the coating.
How to clean burnt non-stick wok?
Though our Excellence non-stick woks are dishwasher safe, to make sure it lasts as long as possible, we advise removing it once the cycle is finished and dry it by hand using a clean, soft cloth. If washing by hand, do not use abrasive or metal scourers as they may damage the non-stick coating. Thoroughly dry with a clean cloth.
It will be easier to clean stubborn food off your wok if you clean or soak it straight after cooking (once it has cooled down, of course). Use a gentle washing up liquid and a soft sponge or microfiber cloth. It might be tempting to reach for a scouring pad or scrubbing brush, but try to refrain for doing this — coarse surfaces will only scratch off the non-stick surface.
How do I store a non-stick wok?
Dry your non-stick pan thoroughly before storing. Avoid stacking your wok with other pans as this could scratch and damage the surface. If you need to stack your pots and pans, place a clean tea towel or cloth inside the wok to protect it.
